Nick is from Dothan, AL, and pursued his academic journey at Auburn University, majoring in accounting
with a minor in supply chain management. It was during his sophomore year that he delved into his first
accounting class, finding joy in understanding how businesses operate through an analytical lens. Upon
graduation, Nick was determined to apply his accounting background and degree in an industry setting,
focusing on streamlining processes and day-to-day business operations.

Nick’s passion for accounting within the construction industry stems from its fast-paced nature,
involving numerous intricate components to ensure the accurate and timely completion of projects. As
the Controller at Project Builders, he possesses in-depth knowledge of each project, including the
budget, timeline, and personnel involved. Nick’s role is pivotal in keeping operations running smoothly
with a commitment to excellence, and he is constantly looking for ways to improve.

Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Lauren, and their golden retriever,
Chipper. Beyond family time, he can be found cheering on the Braves or watching Auburn football, as
well as playing a round of golf.
