David hails from Sumrall, MS, and is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where he earned his degree in Architectural Engineering. His fascination with building and construction has been a lifelong affair, dating back as far as he can remember. The challenge of transforming a plan into a structure that will serve corporations and individuals for years to come captivated him from the start, motivating him to embark on a career in construction.

David thrives on making visions come to life for others and is deeply passionate about fostering relationships throughout the building process. Beyond the construction site, he cherishes moments spent with his wife of 38 years, two children, and two grandchildren. In his leisure time, you’ll find him archery hunting, fishing, and teeing off on the golf course.

BUILDING EXPERIENCE

UNIVERSITY EDGE STUDENT HOUSING – Greenville, NC – $40 million
Managed the construction of a 416-bed student housing project, incorporating four stories of wood framing atop a concrete podium. Achieved project completion within a 12-month timeframe from the acquisition of building permits by the owner.

SALEM HIGH SCHOOL STROM REPLACEMENT – Slidell, LA – $18 million
Initiated in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, this project became imperative due to the destruction of the existing high school. Successfully built a replacement campus comprising 10 buildings, encompassing 100,000 square feet, adhering to a demanding construction timeline of just 6 months.

STORM REPAIRS – Washington Parish, LA – $6 million
Led a post-Hurricane Katrina project to rapidly repair and secure classrooms across multiple school sites. Worked closely with the Superintendent of Education to prioritize needs, sequence tasks, and establish schedules.
